Restoring a 1945 Martin D-45 Herringbone

Hamlett steps us though a tricky repar of a worn-through soundboard on a valuable vintage instument. The repair consisted of finding a piece of spruce where the grain matches almost perfectly, countouring it to fit the hole, gluing it to the soundboard surface then planing it down is situ to thickness.
